We’ll do our best to give you the information you need to get to know us. If you have a question though, the best thing to do is get in touch.
“It’s good to tawk” – Bob Hoskins
We are a small but ruthlessly efficient and smart team of social media, marketing and digital geeks. Our company offers bespoke solutions to your social, digital, marketing and brand needs. See SERVICES for more details.
The name ‘Level Theory’ was chosen to convey our key philosophies; ‘Level‘ referring to steady & genuine audience growth. ‘Theory‘ referring to our belief in shared knowledge, fact and simple communication.
We are pleased that all of our clients have come to us by word of mouth. We don’t operate as an agency, preferring to work with people we like on projects we can get behind. We want to be known for doing a brilliant job and only take on work that we know we can ‘OWN’. We have listed some of our clients in the OUR WORK section – for others we have NDAs and can’t say much about them!
We are based outside London so we have less expensive overheads. On the other hand you will not find our level of skill on a ‘people-per-hour’ website. Our consultancy is quoted on a day rate and our other services are broken down by project size, hours and the budget you have fixed. You may find cheaper but we are confident that we are among the best in the world at what we do.
No. We’re a consultancy and, if needs be, we can be ‘hands on’ with your social and digital profiles.
Having spent time working with many agencies in our past careers, we established Level Theory as an alternative solution to your digital needs. We work as problem solvers, not salesmen.
We don’t offer every service under the sun, we know what we do best we work with our clients to figure out how we can help you within your set budget.
We don’t use buzzwords, we make sure you understand everything we say.
We share our knowledge to help educate and grow your company.
We aren’t based in Shoreditch and we don’t spend our Fridays playing beer pong.
We CAN build websites. We built this one. But since we are not a digital agency we can project-manage your build for you using our colleagues who DO build websites and apps.
Our own profiles are not our priority, yours are. We don’t really advertise and we don’t think you’d be very interested in snapchat videos of us typing away on our laptops. If anything exciting happens we’ll endeavour to update you here, on Twitter and on Facebook.
You askin? This is getting silly now.
“There’s no I in Team”, “Together Everyone Achieves More”, “The difference between success and failure is a great team” and other such sayings…
Prior to the launch of Level Theory, Jess was Digital Marketing Manager for Red Bull in the UK having previously been Lead Audience Development Manager for Base79 (YouTube Multi Channel Network). She has a long history of involvement in the Music Industry having been Senior Label Manager for Above & Beyond’s two labels Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep for 4 years and a further 2 as the company’s Digital Marketing Manager where she honed her interest in all things Digital, Social and Marketing. The labels were the first in the UK to have an independent agreement with YouTube and her experience working for TV production companies Brooke Lapping and the BBC helped Jessica understand the future importance online video would have in Marketing. When she’s not working she can be found out in her garden in Kent, being climbed on by her two small children or fighting her ongoing war with litter (see @litterladyUK)

Photographer, singer, songwriter, marketeer, content creator, video producer/director, blogger, social media expert, community manager… genius. Laura met Jess when they both spoke on an expert panel about marketing for the Musicians’ Union. With shared values and skills they kept in touch until the right opportunity came along to work together. Laura has just released her THIRD album under her alias ‘She Makes War’. When she’s not working she can be found walking her two dogs or… working some more!
We have several ‘experts’ who we work with on a freelance project basis. These include content creators, video producers and animators, community managers, online customer services execs, PR and audience development managers and project managers.
We have an office address in Surrey but mostly work from home. Our clients are spread across the UK and we are happy to come to you. We mainly run our meetings from London. If you are interested in meeting with us, please get in touch. [email protected]
You can connect with us below. Our updates are always little out of date, we focus our time on our client's accounts rather than promoting ourselves!
